This is a nicely put together kit .We have installed them before and if you're looking for a plug and play kit without additional wiring etc this is the kit for you!

I wound up getting the harness on the underside of the fuel rail which was a real pita but the insulation pads fit perfect and the airboxes are fine. I just dont like the idea of the wires being directly onto the rail.

Pretty good effort Cyra. I said I was down to pay original GB price. $1200+$400 injectors. $1250+$650 is not the same price. But you should be able to round up a couple guys who don't have headers. Thats the real deal breaker for me. Not looking to pay around 2k when I just paid close to 3k for the LTH.

Yeah I’m trying! I’ve read all the threads and pmd lots of guys with the ATX get and ultimately decided that, despite the cost vs the “other guys”, I wanted their kit. To each their own but I wanted to try and round up another group of people regardless of injector needs. I’m just not ina position to do LTH but I appreciate the predicament re injectors.

Blows my mind that people are paying (on a group buy special no less) $1250 when you can get the same results, with a better app, for $350. $900 more so you don't have to pop a pin into a connector?? Smh

And that may not even be an issue anymore as the folks at EflexFuel recently mentioned to me that they are going to start pinning the connectors themselves to eliminate the confusion. If that's the case, there is no difference at all, except that if you already have a eurocharged tune they will not sell you a FF tune unless you use their kit.

Sacto beat me to it. To date, afaik, no one has actually physically put the two kits side by side and reviewed them. Lots of comparisons from online images etc. We certainly can’t say as a fact that the hardware is the same, quality, etc. True the sensor appears to be the same as many e85 kits out there. I think I read once it’s a GM part etc.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I’ll say this. I was one of the first to buy this kit when it first came out. I have the ported 550 cc stock injectors with my headers. After running it for a while now with various mixes of e. In all weather conditions as low as single digits. This kit performs. The car runs amazing on full e85. You can definetly feel a difference. When paired with the tune. It is impressive. I run full e with the e85 tune all summer I love it! The install is super simple. You guys can talk all day about cheaper eBay style kits. No thanks! When it comes to an AMG I’d rather go with a tested proven name brand kit. This motor isn’t cheap to replace. Plus you can get a tune for it. That’s huge. When this kit came out it was a first for this platform. These other kits are rebranded generic kits. Do they work the same maybe. This isn’t a Honda b18 to try it on though. I go with the tried and true kit for more money just my 2 cents.

I hear y'all and am not trying to **** on anyone...just looking to save my fellow forum members some money. Keep in mind the EC kit is just rebranded afd which uses the same control box for all of their kits. Camaro, Stang, m3, Vette, Charger, Challenger, etc all have the same brain, just like the eflex kit. None of these kits are tailored to a specific engine. I get this is a MB board and a lot of you won't sweat an extra grand for peace of mind, but for poor folks like me it's seems nuts. However, the tune is a big deal if you're a eurocharged customer. If not, then no problem. Just keep in mind that the magic is in the fuel, not the kit.

I appreciate that there are certainly ongoing debates about the two kits on the market. Let's keep this thread going about the GB please, and continue debates about pro/cons and costs of the two for the other threads!
