How to remove chrome DRL plate?

For those who has pulled out their DRL plate to swap in a black one... hoe do you do it and how much work is involved?

I may be missing something here, but this thread is on DRL replacement. I'm not replacing my DRL, just wanted to know if it's possible to remove the chrome surrounding plate to replace with a black one.
