Preventative maintenance (headbolts and??)
Im looking to do some preventative maintenance on my newly purchased 09 C63.
My car VIN is headbolt affected, so I have been given a few rough quotes in Sydney for about $3K AUD to replace. I assume this is the bolt by bolt method without taking the heads off.
Are the updated headbolts 156-016-07-69 enough, or should I be looking into the ARP bolts? Do I need any other parts other than the bolts themselves?
Is it necessary too update to the cam phaser bolts / valve buckets? (are these updated in the Facelift models?)

Hey KKK. Welcome. I've got an '09 too so I know what you're going through. There are several big threads on here, and in the sticky, about head bolts and all the parts you'll need, it's a fair amount of parts. Consensus seems to be that unless you're going to go crazy making tons of HP, the OE upgraded bolts are plenty.
Otherwise, for preventative maintenance and if you don't have the car history, change all the fluids. That was the advice someone gave me. So far I've got new brake fluid, new oil, new Diff oil that I did last night. Super easy. Also transmission fluid and maybe power steering fluid. So all the basic stuff. Oh and I also put in fresh plugs, filters, and cabin filter. Cheers.
