throttlebodies arent very useful without the plate as they are not compatible with the stock plate. If you shoot us an email we can price you TBs only if thats what youre after. |

Bump!

You know what would be really useful? If you guys could also come up with a bolt-on/clip-on velocity stack for the 82mm TBs themselves. A bunch of us have cobbled together solutions using glue or welds, but nobody has come up with something as OEM-like as is used on the stock TBs or the kit that RENNtech or Kleemann make.... |
We could do that with a Nylon-Carbon Fiber 3d printed part.

I used lock Tite fearing screws would come loose. |
Thank you for the Feedback! hope you are enjoying the plate!
|
Would it be ideal to have a custom tune catered for this modification? |
Yes, a tune would provide you the largest increase in horsepower from the throttle body upgrade.
|
what would the cost be to add the velocity stacks onto a set of 85mm's ?

Yes it could be done, unfortunately it is not in the works for right now as we have other projects requiring immediate completion including a supercharger conversion kit and a new carbon fiber intake.

This is worthless without the velocity stacks.
|
They’ll still likely work fine without the stacks. And you have plenty of options for doing stacks if you want, it’s just a little more of a project. |
I made my own stacks but would if been way better if they had something that would be plug and play.
I just snuck a video wire into my intake to see if they are still glued on and good to go so far. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...4535114d91.jpg |
