which shop would you choose to install?

I have a set of LTH I need installing to my 2013 C63 along with hiflo cats and midpipe. I rang several shops , a few outright said they refuse to do it as it's a PITA.
I have narrowed it down to 2 shops
shop 1 quoted $1800 AUD (I'm in Australia labour is more expensive) and have experience doing C63s. This shop is 30 mins drive away so I will need to factor a taxi/uber home as they require 2 days.
shop 2 quoted maximum of $1400 and admitted he had never done a C63 before, but has many years experience with GM/Holden and Ford V8s. This shop is only 5 mins away
So my question is based on price shop 2 is a major saving but is experience worth the extra $400?
or any reputable shop (shop 2 has a very good rep with the American V8 crowd) can fit the LTH? He said he was keen to do it as another feather in his cap and something different to all the American cars he normally works on.

Also, another shop mentioned that the O2 sensor wires will need to be lengthened but shop 1 and 2 never mentioned such a thing. Is this necessary? I understand the LTH will delete the primary cats and throw a CEL but I have a Eurocharged tune ready after the exhaust is done.

While experience sure helps, it’s just bolting on headers. For a shop with a lift and the appropriate tools and patience, it’s not too much different from any other car. If you have a good feeling about #2 and he wants to do it to add a new skill, then he’s likely going to take his time and do it the right way. It’s just a PITA, not complicated. Just make sure he reviews the DIY by chrisridebike and has the WIS instructions to help guide the process around finicky things like disconnecting the steering column correctly. Supply new exhaust gaskets and header nuts. Will probably need a couple of studs too.

As for O2 wire extensions, depends on the header type and where the new bungs are located. For MBH no extension necessary.

Good luck

What BLK said. The shop that did mine had never done a C63 before and they did fine. Sadly, my DIY is for the intake mani gasket and not LTHs.

There isn't anything special about installing long tube header and mid pipes onto a C63. If the shop has any experience installing headers and exhaust, they can tackle this job.
