i just saw this on my car and it seems like the fender got bent out?https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...9594af17b.jpeghttps://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...9a9b4957b.jpeg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...80ab58c56.jpeg |
Has your car been lower and/or aftermarket wheels or tires?
|
20in vossens but ive been runing them since march literally just happened |
|
You probably snagged it hitting a dip on an on/off ramp while the wheel is turned out.
I have smoked both of mine with aggressive offset up front. |
how would it be to fix? |
how much** |
Not sure on cost, I did mine myself. Get both sides pinched and flared or this could happen.

Don't pinch the fender with that tool it will only work one section at the time and might dent the lip. Tape up the lip. Jack up your car remove the wheel. Use a 2x4 bout 4" long. One end on the ground and hold it in position with your foot. Have the 2x4 go across the flared area and push the other end towards the car. slowly and with pulsing motion until the fender is back to its original position. If you want to roll the fender on the inside used a fender roller. I had the exact same issue. |

It won't, but that's cool. Mine came out near mint and I'm no bodywork professional.

The tool is just to be used for rolling the inner fender lip and not for pushing the fender back to the original shape. |

OP is trying to bring the fender back to its original state.
He should modify the fenders to prevent it happening again potentially causing more damage. Good luck OP! |

So it could happen again? I would not recommend that.

Yup this is exactly what happened to mine after lowering it. That inner edge of the fender shown in the picture you posted was pushed all the way out, I took a C clamp and a tshirt (so the clamp isn’t directly on the paint) and pushed it in the best I could with it. The part that was pushed out actually ended up breaking off. Got to go get my fenders rolled and pushed out so I can go back to the ride height I really want. It’s still pretty low but not the stance I desired.
