1,124 WHP C63

After a break finally the car is better and stronger.
weistec stage 3 and v2 transmission. Build engine and tune by Steve Atneyel.
It is a sleve block with customs piston and rods. As said before car is supercharged and use nitrous.
Thanks to my friends Alex Javier Rivera and Fernando Rivera for their hard work.

Whoa! Is this on pump gas or...? How does the trans handle that?!

Savage-wp 10-27-2018 09:31 AM

Damn, that is a bucketload of power. Must be an animal to drive.

Peterc63 10-27-2018 12:41 PM

Celicasaur 10-27-2018 12:52 PM

Wowwwwwwser

What tranny mods??

And how much of a 'small shot of nitrous' are we talking here??

ecohen2 10-27-2018 01:57 PM

Tire shredder...

marioflex 10-27-2018 02:09 PM

Transmission is a regular Weistec V2. More clutches with better materials. To keep oil temp down we incorporate an oil cooler that works with the cold water from the ice tank. So far is holding great. Lets see how it works at the track.
About how much nitrous it is not a "small amount" that's an inside joke. I did not make the video.

Mort 10-27-2018 02:14 PM

Awesome, good luck at the track!

Do you drive this car on the street?

marioflex 10-27-2018 02:43 PM

Not much, streets in Puerto Rico are in very bad shape specially after the huracane. Also the car now has a full roll cage sol is not that safe without a helmet.

i can imagine the smile on your face right now

marioflex 10-27-2018 08:50 PM

Thanks Brad, definitely very happy.Looking forward to see how the car react at the track, Specially the transmission.

Kriston 10-29-2018 03:21 PM

WOW! That is a crap load of power. Without the Nitrous what kind of numbers is the car making?

hachiroku 10-29-2018 04:50 PM

this is with stock block and headgasket?

marioflex 10-29-2018 07:39 PM

The power without nitrous is in the mid 7xx.

marioflex 10-29-2018 07:45 PM

It is a sleeved block with custom pistons and rods. Head gaskets are stock, they work fine.

marioflex 10-29-2018 07:49 PM

Sorry!! with APR head studs

RNS-11Z 10-30-2018 01:01 AM

Mario, are you using the 60mm pulley? Have you looked at 57 or 55mm pulley?

marioflex 10-30-2018 08:24 AM

55 mm. I want to try a 57 to see the difference. I really think the 3L is already max out and it just generates more heat with smaller pulley. BTW sadly I don't get any HP increase with my gen 3 conversion blower. Steve play with the tune at the dyno but it is what it is. To get more power it needs a bigger blower a turbo or nitrous.

RNS-11Z 10-30-2018 09:04 AM

Did you custom make the 55mm pulley? How much boost are you making?

Thanks for the prompt reply too.
h.

marioflex 10-30-2018 11:24 AM

No, Weistec sent it with my blower when i first bought it long time ago.

marioflex 10-30-2018 11:34 AM

It's weird because with generation 3 blower I got 18 pounds of boost and with older blower 14, but not any gain in whp. Again not the same dyno because the other doesn't exist anymore, but I don't think that makes so much difference.

RNS-11Z 10-30-2018 06:52 PM

Ok thank you. My plan is to run 18psi with the 3lt charger as well. I have ported heads and 2in header pipes, so I’m curious to see how much boost I’ll make with the 60mm first.

thanks for your help

marioflex 10-30-2018 08:32 PM

I have the MBH Tri Y headers and CNC ported heads. I don't think you will get 18 psi with a 60mm but lets see. With my 55mm I use to get 14.
