Did this ever sell?
Still available?
Which plate is this in (Russian Oli or??)

Celicasaur 01-05-2019 05:53 AM

Oh yeah, I forgot about it :rolf:

No it didn't sell and yes it's still available. It's the Russian Oli plate.

How much more rwhp does this get you if you already have ROW's and MBH's?

Celicasaur 01-17-2019 07:50 AM

Random bump, to fund a T04Z turbo.

Why is no one buying this? Isn't an 80mm kit like $3k?

Celicasaur 02-26-2019 12:08 PM

I think you can get the plate for around $1000USD nowadays, or less...I'm not sure on the latest in M156 developments. The throttle bodies can be had for a couple hundred dollars each second hand (I think).

So yeah....I don't know why it's not selling either tbh. However when it does, I would like to buy an intercooler for my Supra :)

Hmm..I wonder where the OP image went...nevermind. Here it is again. The little brown blobs are just some epoxy to ensure a total seal on the joins. This is a simple 'drop in' for your intake manifold and includes the short harness and vacuum line:

What does this do? Flow more air into our cars?

That's right :)

There's a thread somewhere which has more information, but it's a nice mod for after you've done long tubes.

Love the 82’s on my car. Since the bolt-on market for our cars is seriously limited, anything that can increase power materially while being pretty easy for anyone with hand tools to accomplish is a definite BUY in my book. Especially at that price from a known good dude who did it right. GLWS Celica :y

SatelliteMan 03-27-2019 01:46 PM

What kind of power gains would you see ?

95gsrturbo 03-27-2019 02:26 PM

any gains without headers?
just secondary cat?

Kriston 03-27-2019 03:09 PM

Not many people run larger TB's so not much input.

But from my personal experience the 82MM TB's (I have the Renntech version) Definitely increased throttle response and "quickness" off the line. Renntech claims 10 WHP. That's what i seen in terms of gains from my set.

I have another set going into the families ML63 :) one of the more enjoyable mods for the car if staying NA for sure.

Yes absolutely, driving feel and response off the line/crusing/coming out of corners is much better. Driving my car nowadays isn't the same as it used to be...I kinda miss it with the throttle bodies and headers.

Now that I know my motor had its head bolts and buckets done, I seriously need to study these...
