Heated steering wheel
My steering wheel is pretty worn now and looking to replace it. Does anyone know a company that makes heated steering wheels for our cars? Or possibly a retrofit mod?

I don't think it's possible without major R&D even if you had tons of money to throw at it. I've never heard of a factory heated steering wheel on a W204, but on a W166 (ML) where some SUVs have that option, a retrofit would involve a new steering wheel, clock spring, steering column switch module (the whole kaboodle), additional wiring, control module (which also controls the rear heated seats) and finally coding. In other words, you're MUCH better off getting a set of these: http://powerinmotion.ca/Products/Hea...ncouver_Canada

Yeah was trying to avoid having gloves. I lose mine either mid winter or during the warmer seasons and have absolutely no idea where I had last put them |
I was gonna crack a joke, even though I'd love a heated steering wheel.
I googled for the hell of it. Came with this; https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sharper-Image-Heated-Steering-Wheel-Cover/55522799?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1148&ad id=22222222228073146295&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&w l1=g&wl2=m&wl3=184837194652&wl4=pla-318379021884&wl5=9018803&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl 10=112562587&wl11=online&wl12=55522799&wl13=&veh=s em&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI08So-Y_k3gIVRl8NCh1jYABaEAQYASABEgLoLfD_BwE Ironic the 3rd pic has a w204. Pretty ratchet tbh but whatever |
