Even then....ok yes it's on the higher side of the average C63, but if it's a good car (only can be gauged upon inspection) and it's at a good price, then I don't think that the miles should count negatively towards it :nix:

Get it inspected at an MB dealer and see if you can get a VMI and any other maintenance info.
|
Someone certainly liked driving their C63! Good for them..
|
Per the ad it’s for sale at Stevens Creek MB. https://www.mbofstevenscreek.com/use...cetInteracted= |
In my opinion, its a steal.
|
Worst case you spend 10k in maintenance over 3 years, you have a facelift C63 for under 30 grand. Buy a low mile facelift for 30k, and still spend 5k in maintenance. You'll spend money on maintenance regardless, really depends on the condition. I say go for it.
|
I through this out there so hopefully someone in our group in the market maybe grabs it up. I have mine but honestly would buy this a car for my girlfriend and to have a second C63 if it was in my budget. It’s so cheap, how can you go wrong on this especially having the p31 package! |
Wow I would say pretty good deal and a nice combo it it has no accidents, has good maintenance, I think it is worth the money for sure.
That is almost 30k a year in mileage, so I would have to assume someone did a lot of highway miles to accomplish that which is the good type of miles in my book. Most of us sit in traffic and do 1/4 that mileage but if the car had an hour meter, it would be the same hours for 40k miles of slow traffic driving. Obviously some things wear out from the time the car is used and some the miles, but I would not be too scared of those miles. Just have the drivetrain checked thoroughly and i would say not bad. |

The inside leather looks like crap. Maybe needs a good interior detail.
|
A little elbow grease and a few bucks and I'm sure this car would make someone very happy for another 100k miles.
|
Nice car
how happy were you with figment in diffuser and front lip from RW Carbon?
|
Previous owner probably lived over an hour away and made the commute to the Bay area every day...that would explain the high mileage.
If the seats aren't your cup of tea, I'll trade you for my black seats lol! |
ive got double those miles on mine, and its also my daily still. Why buy it if not going to drive it???
|
What would be a reasonable price for that 140k miles car?
Mine is approaching 60k miles and the door auto lock (above 10mph) is broken so it's starting to feel like high mileage to me. |
Big difference between high mileage and high mileage and driven through salt, snow, not garage kept, rained and hailed on, grocery getter with door dings, in and out-in and out of family, dog, home depot, bags of concrete, kid vomit, pets claw marks, curb rashed, bumpers thrashed, sun baked and sitting outside near the beach all day in the salty air...
There are some C63s I have seen with 70-80K miles on it that look show room new. It all depends on who takes care of the car and how. Most people are savages and beat down a car day in and day out, no matter how cheap or expensive the car is. Breaks your heart to see a "nice" car (given that we are all car nuts) with bolsters thrashed on and weather stripping limp and front bumpers destroyed, wheels with curb rash, etc... |
Huge gap in the vehicle history

Live close to the dealer so I went to check the car yesterday, couple of dings and paint chips outside, interior is filthy was not taken care of steering wheel and seats are dirty. Did a test drive car feels okay, had a check engine light they still havent checked it yet since its still in the preliminary check. Salesman said if its an expensive fix they are bringing it to the auction. Another employee told me they said it has something to do with the intake manifold.
