PCMCIA Adapter Question
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering what the largest SD Card size that will be recognized when using a PCMCIA adaptor. Is it 32GB or can you go 64+.
Thanks for the help!

I'm using a 128gb micro sd card with an adapter and have had no issues. Beats the hell out of dragging cd's around for sure. There's 60 some odd gb of 320mbs mp3's on my card, some 8000 songs. All the artwork shows and the control is quite good. Takes about a minute per 1000 songs for the car to create the index and it's clear sailing from there.

I suspect you're not talking about PCMCIA - there would be nowhere for you to plug in a PCMCIA memory card (not to mention that they have been obsolete for 20+ years and that due to their 32-bit address bus the highest memory capacity they could theoretically address would be 4GB) even if you had one.
The SD card slot will only read SDHC cards, which again due to addressing limitations can only go as high as 32GB. The 64GB cards and higher are all SDXC, which the SDHC slot can not read. However, that limitation does not exist for the USB interface in the glove box, where you can plug in an external SDXC card reader and have a 64GB (or 128GB) SHXC card in it, or alternatively a 64GB or 128GB USB flash drive.
P.S. I just use one of these:
