E85+Custom EC tune+ FULL SEND

Big big shout out to Jerry, Dave and Akram/Orhan at Eurocharged Orlando.

Some know some don’t. My old motor got the o’l headbolt failure while driving to work at 50mph. Car now has a 13 motor with 60k on it. Dave sent out the E85 kit and finally got it on. Simple install and let me tell you, the corn is GRUMPY on cold starts. I finally squared away some time with Jerry to fully dial the car in on the e85. The previous numbers are from my pass that’s posted in my SIG which was pump gas, full interior and pano (pulling timing after the 1/8) To keep it ”fair” I returned to the dyno at EC.

The E85 kit its pretty much like bolting a long tube header on a car with stock headers. For those whom have done so know how big of a diff it is. Will you consume more fuel? Yes you will cause of the power and smell. The drivability has improved and the tq is something else. I am very happy with the gains and the overall drivability of the rig. The dyno numbers are only with the car registering 74% ethonal on the app. Yes i know the rpm’s are off and we had an issue but i spin the motor decently high. When the car did 479 at EC orlando, I went back to the first place jerry did the custom tune which was real street and put down like 504 with updated mods. Just to make sure the car was fine.

When I first came in the car did 486/486 back to back and this was on tune for previous motor and the E85 below is where we ended up.

Ive been running certain cars that run REALLY good here in Tampa and well....FULL SEND 1/4 time soon come. If i went back to real street the numbers would be nuts. I’m looking into a possible leak in intake mani.

( i am not a paid actor by eurocharged and or compensated in anyway, and no one or animals were hurt in the making of this HP/TQ)

hi BLKROKT

I'm not familiar with your build, could you list out your mods here that got you there with the E85?

Nice bro but you sent me 500whp dynos of your car on pump gas before

AMGonFire 01-19-2019 09:51 AM

Hmmmm 500 torque? Yeah I don’t know about that one. 500 wheel yeah. 500 torque to match I have never seen that.

Sup bro, yeah for sure. Thats why i said in the post the low dyno number run was my last pump gas run at EC and it was so far off from real street i went back there next day and did 504whp. Totally diff car.

Hmmmm just like i didn’t make 500 on pump? Or just like I wouldn’t trap 120 on pump? And no the run was not at ATCO.

please tell me how you made 500 wheel on pump and exactly the same on e85?

You should probably re read my post, and then re read my response to skratch.

Thanks.

Without wanting to delve in too deep here because I don't pop up on here as often as I used to, nowadays....

If we ignore the validity of the numbers for a moment, we can look at three factors to think about:
1) Conditions to my eye look...favourable. I could be wrong. But then I just said let's ignore the validity of the number for a moment.
2) Peak hp at 6700rpm isn't too much different than before (10hp)
3) That torque curve is nose-diving hard from 5k

I can only assume that the bulk of your gains came from being able to take advantage of the higher cylinder pressure at lower/mid rpms meant that the ignition timing was ramped up hard...? What's the trump figure in the mid-range? Up top, it seems it doesn't have much of an effect...something that I noticed to some degree when tuning my car on the dyno, but my torque curve was flatter (lost ~40tq from peak to 6700rpm, while yours is ~125tq - M156 NA is usually ~70tq loss from peak to 6700rpm).

Did they VVT tune the whole thing, or did they do the usual box-tune and call it a dyno tune because they changed a few parameters here n there? I'd like to say it looks like there must be more power left in it still. I'll bet it must feel lovely on the road man.

I really miss my E63 sometimes....I spent so long getting it to where I wanted it....then a few months later, I punked out. Ahem... :hammer:
