I guess I don't understand what you are offering then.. What do you mean by "the workshop"? Are you saying you can pull Vehicle Master Inquiry sheets or what, exactly?

2016 GTs, 2014 C63 AMG and 2014 C350 Sport (wife's car, she thinks it's an AMG - shhhhhh)
Sounds like he is talking about the 'repair manual' provided by MB to their dealer service network -- gives the repair, estimated time, tools required, proper steps, parts, and photos. I've seen my dealer pull it up looking over his shoulder... pretty slick and constantly updated.
Is that right? So if I need to replace my heater core, I can sent you $20 and you will send me a job sheet that tells me how to get to it and what bolts to remove in what order, etc along with part numbers?

Sounds like he has EPC/WIS setup, you can basically get it for free or for 10 bucks on ebay as a virtual machine, but it is a pain in the *** to keep working and time consuming to lookup repair procedures and printing the PDF's and posting.
Someone else is looking up data cards for free, but if you need the Mercedes shop procedures, sometimes people will pull it for free, but 20 bucks when you need to know the procedure for someone to look it up on demand seems reasonable to me if you don't want to figure it all out yourself.
Bonesxxx, that is what you should get from him, it is a nice PDF you can get out of the system with all parts, torque specs the step by step process and time to do it, attached is an example of one.

Yes, that's what I imagined he had as well (although I didn't know the name).
Fortunately, I don't need any of his services today -- because, get this, my used 2014 came with an active service contract until 50,000 miles or 2022 :-) AND wheel and tire insurance until 7/2019. My dealer was kind enough to leave the contract appended to the VIN and not change the owner name so that MB wouldn't push back on claims. I don't know what it's worth in the end but assuming I hit 40,000 miles before it's up, I figure at least $5K in service bills avoided. YaY me... my luck is almost always bad so I'll take some good for a change.
