Hello. This is to let you know, that nobody cares. The M156 is the heart and soul of the W204 C63 and you’ve destroyed it. Here’s a video of a kitten meowing |

Purists :duh:
I think that is pretty cool. Didn't someone else do this as well with a 4matic system? *edit* yep, Weistec and GAD motorsports both did the M157 motor with the 4matic system. |

How does the engine swap work with the existing MCT?
Is the MCT unchanged with W205? Do you have thoughts to install the trick rear torque vectoring differential, now that you can control it ? What did you do to make it work, meaning you bought the swap engine with matching what: ECU, body control module, keys, what else was needed in order for the ECU to release starting up of the M157? |

go easy on him, BLK. While I love the M156 and agree that it is the heart, an M157 swap is unique and pretty cool. This post beats the hell out of the thousands of “which is the best tune” posts. OP, post some vids and maybe some build pics. |

Bravo for standing up for yourself. Don't let the few haters mess up the car community. I'm sure you have a good reasons to do the swap especially the time, effort, money, and headaches to associated with a engine swap. Please give use some details you had to go through to make it work. Drooling for pictures:wootrock:

Awesome, nice swop. But come now, we need pictures.
What power is it making. |
Pretty cool. I love the M156 but also love mods.
|
Very cool! I know GAD did the 4matic, but there's so little information about how they made it work. I assume you retained the RWD MCT, but any insight on what would be involved? Not that I'm gonna do that or anything, but it's nice to know what's possible.
Looking forward to seeing more! |
Yea I think plenty of people care, or are at least are interested here.
Post some pics |

Otherwise how did you manage to stay offline to code ? |
This is impressive even if I personally would not do it the same way. In my wildest dream, I would actually reverse the swap - put M156 (even maybe with an SC) into a W205 body, knowing I have my favorite engine to pair with a better chassis, transmission and wider wheel/tires.

People don’t seem to like the idea of the swap in this forum but no one understands the tight engine bay problem of the big M156 giving zero tolerance for proper horsepower gains My Black Series swap being the fastest AMG in the world with a 7 speed MCT transmission is worth the swap this is how it should have come out of the box in my personal opinion M156/M159 in the other hand is a great engine in a more spacious compartment gives the M157 the dirt Just my humble opinion on personal experience |
Don't count me as "one of those people" dbasons55 :D

OP - post some pics and vids. next stop will be in the 205 section hopefully this summer if all goes to plan 🤞🏻 |
Huh, where did OP go? WTF was the point of posting this thread without pics or videos. |
Soyboy said "nobody cares". Speak for yourself Snowflake. I know he has a lot groupies on this site, but this is awsome OP, keep it up. Imagine the slingshot effect with this chassis, the sounds, the power. Damn!
