Introduction (Pics)
Wanted to introduce myself into the Euro world of cars with my (new to me) 2013 C63.
I live in Evansville, IN after living my entire life until 2017 in Dallas, TX. (Big Change)
Coming from all american muscle (LS Motors) cars, this is my biggest change up and it is amazing. I am first generation German and I dont think I will ever get away from Mercedes now.
Purchased with 60,000 miles on it, which showed in the paint, but not in the interior. It seems someone took great care of the leather, dash and carpets. Mechanically everything is mostly good except trans shifting (not sure if normal)
I had to immediately get the black paint back to black with 2 step paint correction and ceramic coating.
Day 1 Picture
Not exactly black..
After 2-Step Paint Correction

Congrats on the new ride. Interesting enough, I am in Indy and in the same boat. I just picked up an 09' c63 amg and am used to my mustangs. I will have to say I love the way this car handles. Good coplement to the v8 power I still have.

I have done simple things like black out the chrome around the belt molding and windows.
I did cut out 2nd cats already and i love this sound. Better than a cammed LS in my opinion/.
I recently did my own trans flush with Pentosin ATF134FE but now it shifts badly so I think I messed up somewhere.

What did you use the black out the window chrome? Nice job on the paint correction. What did you use for that?
I had good luck with Menzerna heavy cut 400 and some Rupes blue pads.

I had the aluminum trim around the glass painted and cleared with 2 coats of automotive paint.
The belt molding I used vinyl tape.
I used Rupes Zephir from coarse to fine and then used Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ceramic coating.
I pulled all badges and emblems off before correction to make sure I got all the paint.

Great Intro! Lots of new comers only concerned about ali express carbon parts and neglect the fact they own a car thats a few years old now. Paint correction would be the first place i start. let the modding begin!
