Hello does anyone know if it is possible to update/install my comand system with the option code 255 AMG Performance Media System that comes as an option on the 507 and Black Series? If so how would you go about getting it installed on my 2013 C63 Sedan?
It's essentially a module and a button from what I've read.
But the module connects to data from the gps antenna and in order to provide somewhat accurate power data needs access to the weight of the vehicle.
To get that, it probably needs to be from a very similar vehicle, or needs to be coded to the vehicle. So if you have a sedan you need a sedan module.
I have not seen a reference to it in the command secret menu like there is for the reverse camera.
So you may not activate it from there like you do with the reverse camera.
And finally it's very difficult to locate this system on the parts software, so as to get some sort of part number, although part numbers have been posted before and it was said that the factory recently increased pricing for these a lot.
