If youre trying to avoid the smell, or trying to avoid polluting the air more than neccesary, go with HFC bro.

With 200 cell cats you will hardly notice the difference between open pipes. And makes a big difference on the smell.

We all breathe the same air brother!

Source: compared my headers hpipe car with HFC side-by-side with headers car without cats. No noticeable difference in sound, but noticeably less smelly.

PS: go with H pipe over xpipe. No matter what BLKROKT tells you, x pipe is terrible exhaust note for our cars

I would like to hear your car. Do you have a video. I’m headers cat less and x pipe. The stock resonator is an h pipe. Curious on your sound difference.

X pipe sounds amazing.

HFC lose hardly any power and it also sounds better than straight.

long tubes + hfc + h pipe then straight to stock mufflers.

The best sound IMO (after stock with secondary cat delete)

I'm with BLKROKT. HFC and an X-pipe sounds amazing.

HFC will cost a little HP which you probably will not miss so much on the circuit vs the strip.

Any reason to get HFCs if you live in an area that doesn't do emissions? Wouldn't it make the car quieter and cost you a couple HP/TQ vs straight pipes?

The smell is probably the main reason you'd want them. I cant compare with catless but with 200cell its still crazy loud

I put some stainless works HFC before my xpipe on the mbh headers. Car still sounds insanely loud and actually better than without them. And my clothes don’t reek like fumes. Haven’t noticed a difference in power except I feel I gained some low end torque which I lost being straight through.

Then why do you have headers with 200 cell cats? You're likely over the accepted emissions threshold with them on your car.

Just sayin...

I dont think my comparatively hyper-effecient M156, even with straight pipes, matters too much when you have most of Asia and all of Africa polluting enough for everyone.

I agree. One of those massive cargo ships = 10000 of our cars, and maybe add a zero or two.

I would have to agree with the masses here. Arh with 200 cel cats and xpipe is perfect. Let me know if you want to hear them in person. I'm local in nyc.

I’m mainly concerned with the smell,i won’t have a stock rear exhaust so sound won’t be the same but thank you for the offer.

The "smell" is kinda kick *** IMO. Might not be driving a "race car" but sounds and smells like it! haha

I'm running AHR LTH, 200cel cats, X pipe, to 3" SS pipe, to dual resonators, to stock cans. Its amazing.
