cam adjuster metal rings
Hi, Everyone-
I'm in the process of changing my valve cover gaskets and upper timing cover gaskets. When I removed the upper timing cover, I was explaining to my kid how camshafts work and he spun the metal sealing rings on the end of the cam adjusters. I wasn't sure if the gaps in the rings needed to be aligned in a certain way (e.g. the gaps in the rings offset by 90 degrees each or something like that) the way that piston rings are. Is there a spec for these?
