You just need to vinyl wrap that part of the roof - that's what I plan on doing. Tint + gloss black vinyl roof + ceramic coating is my first stop
Could you do all that for leased car, especailly vinyl wrapping???

Rule of thumb is to stick to reversible things, although I wouldn't/haven't ever removed window tint. I wouldn't be bothered to remove the roof wrap either.

My current 2019 c43 is lowered on aftermarket wheels and is leased, even had an aftermarket intake at one time. It goes in on Wednesday to go back to stock.

I would never tune a leased car (I'd probably never tune a car under warranty either).

I might do the wrapping for the roof as well. Does the ceramic coating last long?

@alexasa The week has finally arrived. I am going to be in the dealership this Friday the 3rd (build start estimate day) for some service. Curious if they will see a system change that day, or if it takes a couple of days to update, based on any past experience you have had with MB. Looking forward to seeing how yours updates this week too.

Here are some examples of the roof wrap.

Standard sunroof still has the roof rails that extend back to where the pano roof would end. Looks a little odd:

pano roof ends where those rails end, looks a little odd:

and here is that back portion wrapped, still looks odd.

Yes, please post or DM me if you get any delays. We should truly be on the same schedule so anything happening to yours will probably be happening to mine and vice versa. I intend to follow up with my SA late this week.

The back portion wrapped looks weird. I prefer the little part to stay body color.

IMO I think the overall look in person with it wrapped will still be my favorite option but would personally opt for sunroof delete if I could have it my way.

the body color strip kinda looks like a basket handle to me. Might not care at all once I see the car lol

I do think pano from the front adds to the look of the car being aggressive, etc.

I wonder if the us market follows suit with the Australian and the release will finally be next month.

Ah no, this was my pushed back build start date - originally was set for October, but was moved back most likely due to component shortages around studio package/sport seats. Alexasa and I both seem to have the same delayed build date, so we hope to get some good news that builds have started with all of the ordered options intact.

Also another line light by the center console.

I've read that it also adds ambient around the sunroof/doom lights controls but that sin't shown on either version.

Oh okay. So yes, I already had placed an order by modifying an allocated one, production was supposed to begin two weeks ago but got pushed to late March. I was able to hop on to one at VPC. Speced almost excatly how I wanted it, just in Silver, w 1st night pack. which looks pretty good, but i might wrap satin white. build came out to 71.2K and my dealer told me expecting release anyday now but tbh ive been hearing this for months now. maybe next week hopefully. Im getting very impatient considering Ive been following the car since its release in Europe 9 months ago, originally placed my order around October, and was told the car would be here by Dec. its already February. I signed, got payments, & everything, its here at long beach, just waiting for me.

Damn. All these comments about the digital light are lowkey making me second guess the standard option 632 lights. Idk tho.

Ah I see. You got real leather pano and carbon. I would personally trade those for digital lights. The standard lights just don't look good to me.

Are they actually selling in Europe? I know social media isn't the best metric but instagram is completely void of any owners of the new c43. I haven't seen one owner. Only dealers posting random promotional pictures or car journalists.
