No idea, but the german media sites suspect it's run into technical problems. https://mbpassion.de/2023/04/mercede...ht-bestellbar/

Thank you and ooo interesting, dynamic plus package for just $700? You get dynamic motor mounts and red calipers, that is surprisingly cheap and driver assistance package includes impulse side now and the long awaited Graphite magno. Last but not least pinnacle includes digital lights just like the 2024 C 300, finally.

The benefit is currently digital lights is an extremely rare standalone option, having it in pinnacle trim just means more US cars will have it. Downside though is for the small number of people who would have ordered a base car, navigation, and digital lights and not gotten everything else.

There's pretty much no world where you should not go for it. The disparity between MY24 w/ and w/o will kill second hand market desirability.

I pretty strongly disagree - you went for a base car, right? And added digital lights as a standalone? I think not many people will nptice or care about the different lights - i.e. the majority of people are more likely to either go all in on tech or have no interest in any. And second hand, I have a feeling the upgraded lights will have very little effect on resale. Personally, the HUD and upgraded audio are musts for me so I would definitely get a pinnacle, but i think a lot of people who aren;t crazy car or crazy MB fanatics and just get the 43 because it looks cool and is loud and fast will have no knowledge of whether they have upgraded headlights or not.

Just ambient lighting and sound system are huge offers that are important to even not enthusiasts in the market.

Wow the dynamics package is interesting and a very fair price for what it offers. In the W205, dynamic engine mounts were only available on the C63s, even the normal C63 didn’t get them. Seems that they have really upped their game and have gone all out for this generation W206 C43. They seem to be putting a lot more effort in their ‘mid tier’ AMGs than BMW is with their mid tier M models. As some reviewers have said about the past gen C43 and the new one, the C43 is a lot closer to the full fledged C63 and the M340i is a lot closer to the 330i, but hey some people only want 6 cylinders. That dynamics pack has now become a “must have” for me if I were to pick a 2024 one up. Also very nice to see the digital lights get added to the Pinacle trim, however I think they should have also kept it as a standalone for the exclusive trim for those like alexasa who prefer to only tick the options they want rather than pay for a whole grouping of options that don’t interest you. I still find these trim level groupings stupid and something they should leave to Audi. What was wrong with the lighting package, premium package, multimedia package, burmester option all as stand alone options like they used to do on the previous generation of cars? I personally don’t care for a head up display or MB navigation (I just use CarPlay anyway) but do want the enhanced ambient lighting, burmester and upgraded lights, so I if I had the option, I would omit what I don’t want, save the money and call it a day.
I find it stupid that they restrict certain color combinations with Starling Blue. I understand not allowing people to spec it with the bright red interior as that would be a bit much, but the not allowing us to combine it with the brown makes no sense to me. Brown over blue is elegant and classy and I find these two specific colors to compliment each other really well. My current w205 is blue over beige (a color combo not too far different from blue and light brown) and I get tons of compliments on the color combo. My local dealer had a Starling blue over black C43 with chrome and no night pack and I feel in love with it. Starling blue is definitely the way I’m going on my next MB. I might even decided to skip the night pack this time as I found the lighter blue and chrome to work so beautifully, it was truly elegant.

The CLA 45 has better choices.. C 43 needs some matte black/forged options.

I completely agree. They nailed it with the W205 as pretty much every AMG wheel looked good. On the new one the 18s are alright looking but look too small. The 20s look too big imo, there isn’t enough sidewall and I’m just not a fan of the overall design, in fact they are my least favorite. The 19s are the right size and look ok. They’re not super great looking but aren’t bad and would be my only pick. In fact that blue C43 I mentioned was wearing the 19s and I thought they fit it the best. I think they should offer the 19s with a black background option like the 20s or even a gunmetal color would look really good with the full night pack with black chrome badges. And I also agree, they need a top of the line forged option like other AMGs

I mean you have a point, I guess the benefit is for like others mentioned more cars equipped with this and that the dealership stock is at least not missing this digital light when almost fully loaded, I see many online that is pretty much fully loaded but is missing this.

Agree completely. I tried to get my dealer to let me swap for something different on my W206 C43 order, but they wouldn't do it. Ended up ordering the RZY since it's the only one with black accents, but I might end up just swapping them out for something aftermarket once I take delivery.

According to the MB Germany configuration tool, if you select the AMG Dynamic Plus package and red calipers, both front and rear show as red.

Some new information on the C 63. Ordering information should come out June 1, and there is a special F1 edition.
Note that this date may not apply to US, and the special edition could also be overseas-only.
