MB is milking the AMG brand as much as they can. Everything is AMG line this AMG line that now. It's gotten to the point where I've seen people refer to their AMG line C300 as an AMG.

w205 was not an AMG, it had MB engine with small tweeks. W206 is a real AMG and some might actually prefer it.
What do you guys get out from hanging out at a forum for the car you don't have, never have driven, not planning to get and in general exceptionally bad?

Because now there's a gap in between an anemic base engine/base model and full fat AMG that comes with a complex drivetrain and unknown reliability beyond a lease.
I'll need to replace my GLC43 at some point, but nothing fits the bill. Definitely will not be anything with a real or fake AMG I4 hybrid engine.

So you won't stop at this forum, here are more 'fake hybrid' engine cars: Ferrari 296, P Panamera, McLaren Artura, soon followed by 911, M5.
F1 cars are even more fake of course

Take a look at an X3 M40i, great engine and drivetrain. BMW nailed it with the six.

I need an easy going daily driver car to carry 1200lbs of rocks, soil, building/landscaping materials because that's stuff I do. Long term reliability and ownership are required also.

Wow, impressions of someone who actually drove the car and has also driven Audi and BMW and actually knows a thing or 2.
His test car doesn't have the best wheel / tire combo though

the M3 and specially the M4 is in the top 5 of most ugly cars ever imo... only surpassed by the bmw XM and other X'es, the 1 serie and the 2 series that are not the 2 door coupe, the GT models

PFL205.064 with M276.823 (Oil pump solenoid defeated)
Well, another forum member pointed out here they might have plans for it but they don't want to publicly admit it as they don't want to affect the sales of the current cars and also want to see how market reacts, hopefully that is the case? Meaning there is hope for V8 to return or just a pipe dream? If the current C 63 S E Performance with the four banger does sell well however, then most likely they will scrap all plans.

I mean... at least we get V8 in the new AMG GT... yay (?) and it doesn't have the E-Performance non-sense although an E Performance version will be coming, at least there an option for a regular non electrified E-Performance GT 63.

Idk about the gt, i dont have 200k euro budget for a car but it should be a grand Tourer, not a track monster with that name. A successor to the s coupe.
