My burbles randomly stopped coming out one day even in sport+
I own a 2023 w206 c43 and throughout 2 years of ownership it has always burbled in sport plus especially whenever i downshift and feather to 5700 rpm. The pops would be super loud at 5700 but now my car randomly stopped popping completely even when i rev it up to 5700. Does anyone have any idea as to why this would happen? I have already tried multiple gas stations and even changed the oil but the car still does not burble.

If no CEL I wonder if it could still be an oxygen sensor, have your service advisor scan the vehicle remotely for codes: https://developer.mercedes-benz.com/...nostic_support

I am not sure if this car is compatible with the scanner but worth trying if you can't take vehicle in yet and service advisor isn't willing to help you remotely diagnose the vehicle: https://mbworld.org/forums/c450-c43-...ml#post8562347

Yes to erase codes with a capable scanner. Need to at least know what caused it though otherwise it will put itself back in soft limp mode again.

I get multiple rear axle malfunctions pretty frequently along with the occasional battery issue that makes it so my car wont even turn on. It just goes into position one and shoots a bunch of lights.

I expect loww voltage codes, that explains why the car is in soft limp mode. Need to drive the vehicle for 60 minutes without stopping or put it on a trickle charger to charge it. No point clearing codes when they will just come back without fixing the issue. This is like a band aid solution except with leaks.

I have driven it for more than 1 hour on multiple occasions recently so I dont think its the battery being an issue because I havent had that issue for around a month now. Yeah but if i clear the codes will I be able to have my burbles back as im returning the car in a month and I dont wanna send it in and lose time with the car.
In that case try clearing it and fingers crossed it doesn't come back, do let me know what codes they are though.

I ses yup these sensitive electronics throw lots of voltage related codes when the battery doesn't give it enough juice. Oh what made you want to ditch MB but good choice, the 850i is a great vehicle! Our forum's admin has one I think his name was speedlimit.

I just wanna try something new as I have driven a m5 and m4 csl and thought they were both pretty neat. So im looking at getting into a bmw instead of keeping a benz but maybe later on I might get a s65.
