C63 AMG Pricing announced!

That's a lot of money considering the base AMG GT makes do with "only" 462 horsepower and 600 Nm, not the full-on 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque of the AMG GT S. Speaking of the GT S, that one is priced from 134,351. Furthermore, the Mercedes-AMG GT S adds what the AMG GT unacceptably lacks as standard: an electronically controlled rear-axle locking differential, that is.

With deliveries starting in the first quarter of 2015, the Mercedes-AMG GT and AMG GT S can be kitted with a number of optional exterior packages, including an elegant Night Package (952), an even more elegant Silver-Chrome Package (1,130), as well as a racy Carbon Package priced at 4,700. If you're a fan of the limited run Edition 1, that's 11,161 (148,512) over the starting price of the hotter AMG GT S.

As for the way more practical and more torquey C63, Mercedes-Benz is asking 76,100 for the entry-level model in sedan guise, while the family-oriented estate (T-Modell) kicks off from 77,766. That sum of money buys you a similar 4-liter biturbo V8, but compared to the one on the AMG GT, this one delivers a little bit more torque in standard guise. The same can be said for the C63 S, which boasts with 700 Nm compared to the AMG GT S' 650 Nm of torque. Price-wise, the punchy AMG C63 S starts from $84,371.

In its home market, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S estate commands 86,037, but you can do better than that by opting for the Mercedes-AMG C63 S T-Modell with the Edition 1 treatment, which wears a sticker price of 97,818. For all the pricing information on both models, refer to the press release attached below.

Worth mentioning these cars are a lot more expensive in Germany than in the states - so I wouldn't start pulling out currency converters and start sweating yet...

Based this price compared to what the W204/C204 C63 is currently selling for in europe, then I would say that we should expect a $3k-4k price increase over the current USA C63 price. $66k+
Keep in mind that the W205 options list is longer and more expensive than the W204's, so a loaded W205 C63 will be much more than a loaded W204 C63.

A fully loaded F80 M3 with all the boxes ticked is $89,975 so it wouldn't be surprising if the C63 S spec'd out even higher.

Hopefully the US online configurator launches soon. I wouldn't plan on picking on of these up fully loaded, but I'm curious what a "lightly" optioned C63 S comes in at in USD.

Using the ratio of the W204 coupe(Euro pricing vs US pricing). Looking at a ballpark $64-65k for C63 and $70-71k for C63-S. The S-model price difference makes sense, it is similar to the pricing of the old P31 package.

No matter how you slice it, the normal C63 after basic amenities will run upwards of $70k and C63 S will be upwards of $80k.

A fully loaded C400 is 65k when I priced it. I'd rather do a 65k C63 add a few more options to make it 75k.....10k more for an amg? what a bargain.

The normal C63 AMG has to be competitive, but Mercedes can price the AMG C63S pretty high, there is nothing in the segment that can compete or has the features that the S variant has, unless it's a P-Car.

We'll probably see loaded C63S (full CF,all electronic gadgets) go for close to $90k-95k.

2015 C63S
I read an article on autoguide.com which made a comparisson between prices of a Porsche 911 Carrera sold in the US and Europe, more specifically Germany. It states that the Carrera is sold in the USA for $105,630.00 and in Germany for 112,313.00, which is quite surprising because I had the notion that cars sold in the country they originate from are usually cheaper, but I digress. That means that there is a 5.95% reduction in price between the Porsche sold in Germany and the one sold in here. Now if we take that same principle and apply it to the prices that have been announced for the new C63 in Euros this is what it will look like if we translate it to Dollars.

Mercedes-AMG C63 Saloon - 76100.00 * 94.05% = $71572.05

Mercedes-AMG C63 S Saloon 84371.00 * 94.05% = $79350.93

Mercedes-AMG C63 S Saloon Edition 1 97,818.00 * 94.05% = $91997.82

That is unrelated to Mercedes.

For example:
The C63 coupe sells for 74k in Germany but it sells for $63k in USA.
The E63 108k/$93k, E63S 119/$100k.

Porsche prices in the USA has no correlation with Mercedes pricing. Its better to use Mercedes history which is what several of us "guessers" have done so far.

Point taken, time to guess again. That means around 15% reduction. For those who math is not their strong suit.

Mercedes-AMG C63 Saloon - 76100.00 * 85% = $64685.00

Mercedes-AMG C63 S Saloon 84371.00 * 85% = $71715.35

Mercedes-AMG C63 S Saloon Edition 1 97,818.00 * 85% = $83145.30

Thanks mate

Based on actual costs of the C400 4matic in comparison to the cost of the c63 here are the numbers I've come up with.

I don't think the prices are going to be that high. They probably will want to keep it around the price of the M3. The M3 is $62,000, so I'm assuming the C63 will probably be around $65,000. If it does end up being $70,000 I will probably just end up ordering a M4.

I'm with you on that. I'm hoping to do an ED in April, whichever can accommodate with a nicely spec'd car I'll choose it. I have yet to drive a C63 but owned an E90 M3 and loved every minute of it so hoping to compare and hope the latest generation C63 is even better than the last. the new F80 M3 a nice car and I've test driven it and like it.

I don't see that out of the question.

You can load up M3/M4 past $90k. This segment has grown up.

Look at the euro increase % from w204 c63 to w205 c63
If it went up for example 4% expect the US increase from old to new to be about the same

You can thank the 2 series, a3/s3 and cla platforms for the increases in this segment pricing (bad) and vehicle size (good.)

Everything is getting a size bigger. I guess that is 'mericanization factor...

New GTR was around 70K when it came to the USA 8 years ago. Now look at the pricing.

Resale on AMG's is horrible. I'd be swinging in half price after someone else takes the new car hit and dumps it off lease in 3 years.

I'm thinking they will start at 65k no way it will start 7k more than an m3. Regardless of 2 series and CLAs they are still the competition

UK pricing was recently announced (along with a somewhat buggy configurator on the MB UK site):

Mercedes-AMG C 63 Saloon 59,795
Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Saloon 66,545

For reference, a DCT F80 M3 costs 58,675

C63 S is still looking good in my books.
