I just wasn't impressed. Troll? Do I have to praise every car? I was looking at C63 pictures today and I came across this pic, and thought I'd comment on it. I like the C63 without this look...
BTW, I like that 1st BMW but not the 2nd.
And Mustangs have had racing stripes forever. Doesn't belong on a V6 (but that's a V8 pictured). More of a muscle car thing than rice.

People can get so sensitive about cars. It's still a great car. As an engineer, I have a weird tendency to notice patterns, colors and shapes between unrelated cars right away. I immediately notice these kind of things. Most people don't.
I bought cars too that people immediately talked crap about. Didn't bother me. Everyone has their own taste, that's why there are so many different styles/models. For example, I hate red leather interiors, but many people love them.
lol I love BMW but BMW does tacky the best when they start adding stripes. Im not a fan of the red decals either but it doesn't look as bad as what BMW does.

I actually didn't realize people purchased it until I saw someone's signature after posting this thread, I thought it was a limited version that not many people were getting. That's why I posted the later messages.
I think it looks great. Not over done, mainly accents. As a car enthusiast, it's pretty sad seeing all the boring, plain colors that crowd U.S. streets. Everyone scared that they are going to offend someone or they will look classless. Being "classy" is succumbing to the whims of society...being a lemming.
I'm all for people who individualize their cars as long as they don't go too far... The Edition 1 isn't too far.
For the people who got the Edition 1s, Mercedes had the guts to do it, so enjoy!
I personally think they look pretty good. I agree that they are not for everyone but at least they are introducing new things to keep the brand fresh. And have you seen the CLA 45 Ed.1 in black? Looks like an absolute monster waiting to be unleashed

She was very attractive to say the least. However, I did the breakdown of the E1 and it really isn't costing anything additional and here's why. The package will read $13,990 on the window sticker but it does include the following:
