We have made a set of downpipes that we will start testing next week. However, this upgrade will most likely not be popular like with other turbo cars. Put it this way, the first step in the MB R&R guide for the downpipes is to remove the transmission!!! This will be a huge turn off for most C63 owners. It will be easy to cut the old DP’s out and install ours, but returning to stock will not be so easy. For this reason, we will spend too much time on them right now.

Enjoy the teaser pics!!

But I assume the only way to really get this car to sound crazy is to add some downpipes correct?

Exciting stuff. When can we expect stock and tuned quarter mile slips? Have you run baseline ETs?

What exactly is OBD support?

I can only find 91 octane around me. How does that work with your tune? Does E85?

This refers to the ability to load the tune through your car's On Board Diagnostic (OBD) port in the comfort of your driveway rather than having to extract your Engine Control Unit (ECU) and mailing it to your tuner. The latter is a big hassle and leaves your car disabled for at least a few days.

Thus, OBD support is a huge feature.

Are the turbos "hi flowed" or larger comp + exh housing and wheels? Can you please share some details regarding what you have done with them?

Thanks
H

There is only so much a cold air intake can achieve on a turbo car as the turbo heats the air up rendering the cold air part kind of useless. You will get somewhat of gain with less restrictive filters.

High flow filters and low restriction air supply for the win.

200 MPH Dyno Testing!

Heard some rumors floating around that we can't tune the ECU.

Here's the proof for all the haters!

Smaller piston diameter, same skirt length as the 6.2 liter.... better piston side loading/stability?
Better for higher boost?

Old thread bump

Hi guys,

Hopefully its ok to pull up this old thread, not sure way it stopped going. Not sure if EC has updated most of the subjects in this thead regarding new products and pricing in new threads or not.

Love the over lay of the dyno's between the w204 c63 and w205 c63s both stock. Also love seeing the Rs7 overlay as well. Was excited to see a tuned overlay as well though it seemed this thread ended. Also wanted to learn more about the turbo upgrades, cooling mods and trans upgrades from EC as well.

Plan to have my C63s tuned by EC as soon as we can get the group buy catted down pipe completed. Not sure if its worth looking into the turbo upgrade and doing everything all at once.
