AFAIK deliveries of the new W205 series C63 to Australia are not due until last quarter of this year at the earliest, most likely early next year at least that's what I was told by my MB dealer last month anyway

You can certainly order now though typically pricing for the W205 C63S is around 165k drive away here in Melbourne

I am reading all the forums to keep me occupied until October and have not been able to see a car in the flesh. I have been told that demand has been high and all initial dealer allocations have been sold. Who else is out there from Australia? What was your purchase experience like? What colour/spec did you order?

mine is being delivered in 3 weeks. I believe it's on the first shipment. I got the VIN beginning of May and the vessel is due to dock in June.
Im not sure what you're dealer told you. there is however a rumour going around that MB Aust. have put an embargo on customer deliveries until the AMG Bathurst event next month - even though my dealer has booked in my handover.

I hope it arrives when expected. If not, you appear from your signature to have some other suitable cars in your garage to tie you over. My dealership was expecting their first car to arrive in the country about now and be in the showroom at the start of next month.

I am in Perth ordered mine in March promised delivery last week of July. When theycalled me last month to update they said it was still tracking on time. Paid $170k with black rims and carbon fibre dash. Stamp duty in WA more than anywhere else Oz

Is anyone in Aus ordering the Edition 1 or is the main option just the black multi spoke wheels? Tell me more about the spec of the car you chose, your thinking at the time, and the deal you got. I need to hear some excitement and read more info to pass the time until mine arrives in October.

I paid 150k with no stamp duty in Melbourne, diamond white with the black rims and carbon trim. and i was told its going to be delayed buy a couple of weeks for diamond white in august I'm guessing sept now.

how can you find out if your car is in production

It's a shame about the LCT. What mods are you planning for your C63 track car? Are there any tuning places in Melbourne who have product ready yet for the W205 platform? (Question also for RNS-11Z - anything from sonny at AW?)

Not that I am aware off - I was told they would have one in May - so sight unseen but bought subject to test drive - I think it's probably a safe bet that I will be happy with it

Sonny should be getting a car in the next few months. We have already been planning mods for mine (bigger turbos etc). Once I have more info il update

Someone asked about options, I've ordered diamond white, and carbon fibre option. Got it got under 170k on road.

The dealership informed me that orders are full for 2015 and that new orders will be for 2016 delivery.

Dealers will be receiving the car mid June 2015 - however are not permitted to show until launch date is set, which will be around the 1st July. MB AU have placed embargo on the vehicles. No dealer will be permitted to show prier to this date.

first allocation of vehicle sales will be around 15th August,, second order allocation will be October 2015. I have ordered the ED1 no carbon fibre exterior option available for AU - this option is only available in Europe the only option you have in AU are the ceramic break option, black or red seat belt option. Thats for ED1.

My allocation will be around the 15th August however i placed a deposit November 2014 Diamind white bright ED1 owith red seatbelts i was told im 4th on the list. other base models may be earlier, i will be heading to Sonny for Dyno run

That is the official line from MB Aust however my dealer has already booked me in for delivery end of June as my car arrives on the boat at that time. (they sent vin, rego, insurance, finance and all pre delivery items already and ask that my first lease payment be ready for 29 June!) I don't mind either way (as I'm overseas anyway) however my dealership said they will deliver for this FY so watch this space I guess.
