What's your individual setting?
I have engine in sport+
Suspension in comfort
Trans in D
Exhaust in sport+
Esp on
This is my driving around on bumpy roads setting. When I want a stiffer set up with less traction control I just flip over to sport+ or race.

Thats pretty much my I* setting as well. Actually thats exactly it. It is pretty much S+ but with no Eco and softest suspension.
Comfort mode is nice but I need that exhaust sound and the Engine in S+ feels/sounds good.
I'm willing to bet this is the setup for a lot of people too!

MBWorld Fanatic!
It does get louder in S+ because the car revs at a higher RPM. Switch between Sport & Sport + at idle and you will see. If you open the exhaust in Sport; it's the equivalent to Sport + in sound without the higher idle.

Sorry for the amount of questions below but I have not seen any review that simply explains how the settings work in practice.
If the transmission has multiple settings, why is the consensus to leave it in "D". Is it because the shift quality is a bit abrupt for daily driving in the sportier modes?
Is there a big difference in fuel economy with the engine on the base setting verses sport plus?
Are there multiple settings for the ESP or is the amount of intervention linked to the engine setting?
Finally, I am assuming that the car starts with everything in the lowest setting and you have to switch to individual every time?

A45, Amarok, C63s Edition 1 wagon.
Bump bump bump!
I've figured out my settings that works for me on a daily basis:
Engine - race.
Exhaust - loud.
Gearbox - manual.
ESP - on.
Suspension - comfort.
I'll put into comfort mode on long highway trips, but I start the car as above and rarely change it.
