Coolant low anyone??
Hi I have the coolant low warning message. My question, should I drive to dealership for them to top up or? Also, I noticed the antifreeze in my reservoirs are pinkish coloured while what I have from MB for my W204 is light blue does that matter? And I noticed there are 2 coolant caps/reservoirs(one bigger one on the left looking from front of car and one smaller in the middle on top of the engine) which one do I top up from?

I got the same message yesterday morning and this morning. I'll check it tonight when I get home and it has had a chance to cool down.
Same thing happened to a Range Rover my wife used to have. Ended up being that the factory was just stingy with the coolant fill.

Thanks! Any charges? Did you have to buy the coolant? I bought one. So they had the blue and the pink one. I used the blue one for my W204 C300 but they recommend the pink one for C63S. They told me to mix 50% water.

If you ever need coolant/Oil topped off, the dealer will usually do it free of charge.

just happened to me too this weekend (coincidence that i left it outside overnight and it dipped to just above freezing?)....went to dealer for top up while i waited, no charge....5,100km on c63s from May.
...on a side note, just after that, i started having intermittent problems with my blind spot assist and lane keeping assist....oh well, i'll wait for service a for that one!

Reviving an old thread. I just had this warning as well as a low oil message pop up. I was looking up which coolant to use and also got confused since blue was recommended but I have the pink.

I would use MB coolant the same color as you have from the factory. The coolant has an additive package to make it last the 15 year service interval. Do not add anything else except MB coolant and distilled water mixed 50/50. The dealer will likely top it off while you wait for no charge.
