Depending on country and region, car manufactures have to make sure the tires do not extend beyond the "BODY" of the car. Its the law.
Since the car have some meaty tires with some camber, many manufactures CHEAT this by adding a plastic flap like this to make sure the "BODY" of the car covers the tire.
So depending on market you might or might not have it on yours. Its not a mud flap so maybe its just easier to remove the other piece
Help that helps

I saw a Lexus RCF that had the same little pieces.

Thanks guy much appreciated. I live in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
hahahaha I had it on both sides, but some how one flew off ;p I'm trying to decide on what to do, either remove the other one which is still holding on, or get a spare one from the dealer and fix it, going back to how it looked like from the beginning.

I'm in the UK, so less stock I guess. Although you'd have thought it was a standard part across the C Class range!
They were particularly pleased that they had stock of dust caps to replace a missing one of those, so that sets the bar pretty low...

I'm in the UAE, that's even worse I guess (im assuming its a smaller market maybe?) but anyway that doesn't sound good though ... how long will it take ?

It's been a week or two so far, but I am waiting on some other bits so they may just be waiting for it all to get there before they get in touch.

They are called flares, as in bumper or fender flares. Purely cosmetic. They are separate to the bumper, and attached with a single use tape/adhesive that is "built in" to the part A lot of repair shops try to reuse them if the bumper has been off for respray/repair. However they never stick well and prone to falling off. Presumably you would know if the rear bumper has previously been off your car but worth checking the other side to see how well the flare is fixed on.
I don't know the W205 part but it looks fairly similar to that on other AMG models (and AMG kits on non AMG Mercs) - A45/CLA45 and also W204 C63 - so this might help you track replacements down.
