Blue Start-up Intelligent Headlights
I know due to legal reasons the headlights in the US do not feature the blue "welcome home/hello" feature, but just for argument's sake how hard would it be to get those on my US car?
Is the feature a combination of hardware/software, or is it strictly one or the other? If it's a hardware issue, technically, the headlights could be imported from a country that does have the feature and then installed. If there's software involved, however, it'll be very difficult to activate.
Also, is the multi-beam LED an option on this car outside of the US? Because those headlights are different entirely, and will definitely require a software flash. I just want to know if the blue light-up feature is possible via hardware.

I think it involves a software change if you want the full feature of auto high beam assist. But for the blue welcome light, I am not sure, I would assume it's the same headlight but it still needs a software change.
