My C63S Coupe has arrived and it's amazing!

Finally picked her up in Sindelfingen and it looks even better in person! I drove it through the black forest and into Switzerland today and it was an unforgettable experience. I'll be driving through Switzerland, Italy, and France (dropping it off at the port in Nice). First impressions... unbelievable! The sound just with the performance exhaust  It's so much louder than the Sedan I test drove and the pops and bangs in tunnels are insane (how is this legal?!).
The ride feels great, even in Sport+ I don't find the suspension jarring, and Comfort mode really smooths everything out when you want to relax. I expected it to ride harder based on other peoples reviews. I'm obviously still in break in mode (not exceeding 4500 RPM), but the torque is just immense. Totally addictive. The transmission feels improved over the Sedan as well, the response from the paddle shifters is instantaneous... it's on par with a DCT. I'll be posting more pics throughout the week on Instragam (@selenite_c63s), but here are a few from the pickup at the factory https://www.instagram.com/selenite_c63s/ Attachment 443101 Attachment 443102 |
Looking good mate, enjoy the car... and sounds like the perfect way to run in the car.
|
That is one sweet ride! :y Love that color. Enjoy in great health! :zoom:
|
Looks amazing. I initially thought I preferred Selenite with the night package. But this car looks sweet without the night package. The silver trim on the front A-wing and the rear diffuser are a nice touch!
|
damn nicE!!!
|
Beauty! Congrats!
|
Oh gawd! Sex on wheels. Congrats.
|
God the coupe looks so good. Wish I waited to get the coupe instead of the sedan!

Same motor, same exhaust etc? |
Very nice congrats :)
I also agree that your choice of silver trim on salenite IMHO looks great and better than the night package black option, more contrast more visible shape and profile = much nicer and more prestige look, IMO the silver wheels option would've finished it off perfectly - maybe a nice set of brushed aftermarkets ;) |

I already miss her a ton, the wait is going to be painful! I had a dash cam that recorded the entire trip, so I'm planning on throwing together a quick video to show some of the best snippets from driving. Easily some of the most amazing roads I've ever driven, and had a lot of encounters with some really cool cars along the way. |

I was never bothered with road noise over the 609 miles I put on her over the week, and I went through some pretty poor conditions (driving through the city center in Milan, cobblestone roads, etc.) and it was absolutely fine! Not a single complaint from my fiancé... and that's the ultimate test :y
