Panorama roof cause wind noise?

Took a c63s sedan out on a test drive with the panorama roof option on the car. At highway speeds it felt like there was a lot of wind noise. Would not having a panorama roof make the wind noise less? Also, for those who have driven sedan and coupe, is one quieter than the other?

Was it open?

I drove a coupe with and without and noticed a VERY slight difference with the panorama having a tiny little more noise. But only when I was listening for it.

Its a tiny sacrifice I'd be willing to live with as the glass roof really lifts the cabin and makes it feel so much bigger inside.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Wait until all the cracking and popping sounds start showing up and possibly having to bolt things down once every few years...lots of fun with those when it's out of warranty.

No noise from my sunroof so far. But when I press the performance exhaust button, there is a hell of a pop and cracking from back of the car when I accelerate

Come on folks -- taking the headliner off and torquing a few bolts here and there, very basic maintenance

Sure, if it is really easy to take off and replace the headliner without introducing more problems.
