285's on a sedan

I know there's a bunch of threads about tires but I need a definitive answer on the tires. I have stock 19" wheels and want to go in and order 285's tomorrow. Plus I know this will be helpful for others. As far as fitment goes, do 285's fit without spacers? Or do I need a spacer so they fit? Also, what size should I run, 285/35 or 285/30 or 285/40 for rotating circumference? Thanks in advance.

I'm planning to do the same, lets wait and see what the guys recommend.

my friend was running 295 R888 in the rear of his sedan. he was using the stock 5 spoke 19" wheels. no rubbing issues at all. i cant remeber if they were 30 or 35. he didn't run spacers either.

295/30-19 would have be closer to the aspect ratio to the stock 265/35-19. It's a little shorter than stock, but closer than 295/35-19 would be.

The r888 is a 295/30-19. I am ordering a set of 285/35-19 Bridgestone Lorenza re-71r to go on my 19x9.5 hre wheels in the rear so I'm interested to see how it goes. The salesman at discount tire says there systems shows a 275 as a potential rubbing issue but I do not believe that.
