Extended Warranty
Just bought a new c63 AMG. They offered an extended warranty for 7yr 75,000mi for $6700. I only drive <10k mi a year but not sure if the extra 3 years warranty is worth $6700. Any thoughts from you anyone? My auto insurance has provided extended warranties on my previous cars, but they won't even offer that option with this AMG which scares me HAHA.

How long do you plan on keeping the car? The factory one is longer than most people keep the car but you may be one of the long term people. You may want to consider buying a warranty toward the end of your warranty. This way you're not paying for something you may not keep if you decide to sell the car.
Another er thing to keep in mind is you can cancel your warranty, aftermarket, and get a refund. I think this is at any point but I'm not 100% sure. They will pro rate the warranty and I believe there is a cancellation fee.

The extended warranty my dealership is offering is 100% transferable in case I do sell the car.
The other issue is that the dealership says that if I purchase AFTER 30 days from car purchase, the price goes up 25%. I have a feeling that's them trying to screw me over. Would be nice to hear what deals others have gotten on this.

You can buy the MB ELW from any Mercedes dealer. Based on this thread, I called Marc Rose at W.I. Simonson and got a price I was happy with for the ELW for my C43. It took a few minutes over the phone for him to enter the information, and I got an e-mail with the paperwork shortly after that. I also got a quote from Eugene Matusov (MatusovE@autonation.com), who was also mentioned in that thread. He offered a similar price. Both were far less than my dealer offered. Hopefully they're able to offer a good discount on the C63 ELW too!
