I am close to placing the order for a new AMG C43 coupe. The car will be driven in good weather and garaged otherwise. My plan is to order it with the base 18-inch wheels and all-season tires and immediately replace those items with true custom forged aftermarket 19-inch wheels and Michelin Pilot Super Sports in a staggered setup. I will NOT lower the car.
I would like to mount the widest wheels and tires front and rear that will fit without issues. With custom forged wheels, we should be able to dial in the offsets precisely. If I choose an HRE wheel such as the RC103 in the 19-inch diameter, have your engineers determined the ideal fitments for the C43 coupe? |

It's not uncommon for us to work closely with HRE in regards to fitments. We have already measured the C43 AMG Coupe and have the proper fitments. As HRE's largest distributor in the world we'd be able to share our data with them (if they don't have it already) to get you dialed in. |

I don't believe so as the C63 is more of a luxury muscle car rather than an all-out track performer but if the demand is high enough you never know. The standard R101's are already lighter than the OEM offerings as it is :naughty: |

I would instantly buy them for my C63s Sedan! So HRE, any chance for that?

So what would be enough demand?
How about the weight difference between R101 and the R101LW for example 19x10,5? |

How about the weight difference between R101 and the R101LW for example 19x10,5? Since each R101LW is machined out specifically for the exact model it was intended for, one 19x10.5 meant for one particular model may way slightly more than the next 19x10.5. Because each model vehicle takes a different load rating, each R101LW will be machined in a way to accommodate that particular model, but let me give you an example to help explain. The 19x10.5 rear we use for the BMW M2 weighs 17.2lbs. Compare that to the 19x10.5 we use on the front of a C7 Z06, which is 18.00lbs. Similar offsets, exact same diameter and width, but the Z06 is obviously a heavier car with a pretty big and heavy supercharged V8 up front too, hence why the weight on this R101LW is slightly more than the M2 version. Since I already gave you weights of two R101LW's in 19x10.5, I'll give you one for the standard R101. Looking at 19x10.5 R101 in a similar offset we had weighed in at 20.00lbs exactly, so you'd be looking at a difference of about 2lbs/per wheel compared to the R101LW. |
