You know one thing I just noticed from all this cool pics and engine builder name posts, is that you could eat off of any one of these engines! You guys all keep your motors so clean they look like they just rolled off the factory/assembly floor!

Thats one thing for sure. My engine bay is spotless year round. Even in the muddy rainy season. The design of the weather stripping is perfect and literally every time I pop the hood people ask if I just bought it because it’s so clean.

Okay, so you have a nice 63 vs. us lowly "non-real" AMG C43 owners. I test drove both cars and agree the 63 is very nice. Its is also very large and screaming fast. Fast to the point where I couldn't justify
the price diff, since I never track my cars. Car and Driver review of both cars showed only a diff of 0.2 sec to 60 mph between the 2 models.
Many C43 owners prob also could afford either model and many could not. I could of. The fact that the 63 engine is "handmade" vs. the 43 does not justify the huge price differential when looking at the
speed to 60mph diff or practicality of ever being able to utilize the higher range speed diiferential.
Yes, the C63 is a very nice rig. But so is the 43.
BTW, I paid a net price of $54K plus tax and fees for a special order 43 in iridium silver, with wood trim and perf exhaust as only desired options. I will keep it through the 4 year warr. period and then move on to another new car.

There's no need for us to respond to some kid trying to justify his purchase. Why buy a M3/4 when there's m340/440. Why a RS5 when there's a A5/S5. I feel sorry for you from being baited by the title. You can start another thread for reasons why we bought the 63 over the 43.

Very bad comparisons. Assume you track your 63 or had a spare $30K laying around for that "handmade" engine. BTW, they only supervise the build, while other flunkies do the actual work..I am hardly a kid and
didnt like the tone of some *** knocking another awesome AMG model car by inferring it is not real.. I will remember that its not real when I get thumbs up all the time and hit 60mph in 4.2s.

Hope you at least got the super cool coupe model vs. the old lady sedan.
