Changes to MY2018 C63/C63s Sedan
Hello everyone,
The new dealer guide has been released by Mercedes. I thought we could start a thread to discuss the upcoming changes with the MY2018 vehicles. I will be placing an order soon so the changes have sort of caught me off guard. Here is what I know so far.
1. Premium Packages are being changed and replaced by al la carte options.
2. "Advanced Lighting Package" will include interior ambient lighting, illuminated door sills, and Active LED Headlamps. Price TBD
3. Multimedia Package is a separate option. Includes Upgraded Command Screen size and touchpad. Price TBD.
4. Apple CarPlay / Android equivelent is a stand alone option seperate from the multimedia package. Price TBD. Apple CarPlay back ordered or not available until September 2017 build dates. Also, the current edition of the ordering guide says you cannot select both the Multimedia Package and Apple Car Play. Which means, as of right now, it is either a larger screen and touchpad or Carplay. Which does not make too much sense to me.
5. Sunroof is now standard on all vehicles. Cannot delete Sunroof. Panorama roof is still an optional upgrade. (This one sort of upsets me. I was considering not going with the Panorama roof to gain a couple inches of head room. I wonder if the standard sunroof will have more headroom than the Pano roof. Could anyone weigh in?)
I am sure I missed some other options. What does everyone think?
