oil filters 2017 C63S

Have a new C63S on order. Talked to the service manager and he told me that there are 2 possible oil filters for the '17. Anyone know about this?
Tks, Michael.

No, only one oil filter! But I can tell there are two places to drain oil, you need drain oil from two different place, if you want to drain completely.(even the WIS doesn't tell this secret)

Oil filter

Thanks for that, but you stated that one must drain the oil from two places.
Do you mean the oil pan and the filter housing, or is there another spot, such as from the oil cooler?

One is on the oil pan which is plastic.
There is another one metal oil drain Screw near the Y130. (The screw on oil pan is plastic).

Interesting. How much oil comes from that orifice?

Both combine should be near 9L.
If you follow the WIS procedure only drain the plastic screw, you may have 0.7-1L left at front.

I would tend to agree. Most of the oil came from the plastic plug near the oil filter. It makes me think it was sooooo NOT worth it going through the trouble of undoing the 6mm plug which was a major ***** to do with a 6mm allen wrench since a ratchet will not fit.
