Car feels different after software update

I brought my 2016 C63S in to the dealership for some perceived rough downshifts. The tech readapted the troubled gears and applied software update LI27.00-P-065346.

After the update, I noticed that the car just felt slower overall. Almost like it turned my C63S into a C63. One thing it causes also is a less positive 2-3 upshift. Almost like it delays the shift or drops torque before shifting.

Does anyone know what this LI27.00-P-065346 software update does? Or has had these issues? Is it even technically possible to put the wrong software in the car?

has anyone had these transmission issues? Thanks

Do you know if it's that specific update? By that number?

Im taking delivery of my MY 2017 next week. How do I know if it has the software update for the exhaust or not? Is it in the settings of the car?

I don't know if this is the cause, but the transmission on our cars is adaptive and will adjust shifting harshness/timing/etc based on how the car has been recently driven. I can't remember how far back it'll log (I'd have to find the article I read about it), but if you drive the car hard, it'll shift harder. If you baby it, it'll shift slowly. Maybe the perceived slowness has to do with the transmission not learning your more-aggressive driving style yet.

Any update on this? My 17 C63S coupe is in for a transmission update because of rough upshifts 3rd to 4th only occasionally and an occasionally slow (2-3 second) downshift. I'll let you know what my experience is after I get the car back.

Not really. They tried to smooth out the 2-3 upshift and I still feel like something isn't right. Almost like it drops rpms too much before the next gear. It feels like if you were driving a manual, and you shift snow enough to feel a slight drop in acceleration.

mechanic says it's normal, but I'd need to drive another c63 to really confirm. I felt like before the software update, each shift was very positive.

I only see ONE bulletin/notice on the RO.
I'm not sure if the detailed instructions state to do multiple things in order to accomplish that bulletin, however, if you have a separate bulletin number that applies to the traction control issue, I would highly appreciate it!!!!!

I was not given an bulletin info on updates just told engine gearbox and traction control software had been updated to up to date version and sound software. No paper work with details of updates was given when car picked up and was not expecting anything as BMW never give any paperwork when updates or warrenty work has been done.
