Multiple Updates Done My Impressions
I took my car in for a few reasons. One being an occasional very rough shift from 3 to 4 in manual mode only and the individual mode resetting randomly. The dealer performed the following updates:

"Found stored codes in AMG and ESP module for communication with head-unit. Instructed to update all related control modules by FTS (Bob U) Connected battery charger, flashed comand online, esp module, power-train control module, engine control unit with new software."
The car has not had the shifting issues it had in the past and even downshifting to first coming to a stop seems smoother. The exhaust, while it used to pop and crackle before, now pops on liftoff of throttle at 3k rpm and higher. Revving seems to have more pops than before.
The turbo seems to have more lag than it did before. It seemed like before the turbos were near instantaneous power where as now it feels more like my old Evo. Power does't seem to have dropped at all, when the turbo kicks in it was nearly uncontrollable. It feels like more power because it all seems to hit you at once. Any thoughts on why the turbos seem to have more lag than before? Is it the car just starting to learn my driving again since everything seems to have gotten reset?

I got the update for the exhaust sound fix done (same as you mentioned, more pops now on lift off and rev) and j completely agree. More lag now from a stand still. Used to be near instant boost but seems like a 1-2 second lag now.

Just to add to this... before the update, if cruising at 40-50 mph and I floored it, the rear of the car would waggle and squirm losing traction. Now, it doesn't even have a hint of that. Totally composed when floored.
