2017 c63s pricing
Hey guys! I'm currently driving a 335i and have been wanting to come back to AMG for a while now. I went into my local dealer and they currently have a new 2017 c63s coupe with pretty much all the options I want (color is not my first choice but it is growing on me) for $89,600 msrp. I was able to get it down to $81,700 but with 2018 right around the corner, I was curious if this is a good deal, worth waiting for the 18, or maybe even worth waiting for a used 17?
is there any known issues with the 17 c63s coupe? I searched around but nothing stood out.

There's not much new with MY2018 - Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is finally available, but not in conjunction with the Multimedia Package (eg, the bigger screen). There's also the magno grey paint, but it's delayed until "TBD" so if you ordered now who knows when you would get the car.
Your quote for the MY2017 is just under 9% off, which I believe is below invoice for the car. I hear people talk about trying to get 12%, but I'm not sure how likely that is. So while your deal may not be the absolute best, it doesn't sound like a bad deal to me.
Regarding used 2017 C63S coupes... there just aren't that many available according to cars.com or Autotrader. Currently less than 10 results on those sites. So you might be waiting a while for the right car to pop up unless you get lucky.
An $89,600 sticker car has got to be pretty well loaded unless they went crazy with ceramic brakes and carbon fiber. If you don't mind that MY2018 cars will be showing up in a few months, I'd say go for it. I have an order for a MY2018 but if the perfect spec MY2017 had been available I probably would have jumped on it.

Thanks @GordonGEICO! It is a fairly optioned car (pretty much everything except ceramic and carbon fiber)
I was looking at financing vs leasing and was curious what your opinion there might be. I still need to get final numbers but if I were to do a 3 year lease with 15k down /15k miles, it would come somewhere around $1000-1050/month. If I were to finance with a 72m loan and 20k down I would be in about the same monthly ballpark. I ultimately don't intend to keep the car after about 60k miles so I'm trying to figure out what will put me in the best position in 3 years.

Personally I always buy/finance rather than lease as I never know how long I will keep the car (I know I could buy out the lease) and don't want to deal with any mileage requirements.
Speaking of leasing, I don't have any personal experience, but I've seen a few people mention that AMG vehicles aren't necessarily lease-friendly.
Recent example (there are others):

Otherwise, buy the car if you can find a low interest loan.

I was able to get about 2.94 on 72m through my local credit union.
I know that many people say don't put a large down payment but in the overall 3 year picture I would be spending less by doing a 15k down vs a 8k down for a lease. I guess the issue is more so if something happens your out that cash..?

Got final lease amount
15k down / 15k annual miles / $1074/month as a total payment
What is everyones thought on purchasing the 4 services? My SA is recommending if I lease but not if I finance.

I ended up getting a C63S with an MSRP of $83,800 for a negotiated price of $77,400 or a 7.6% discount. I did lease, no money down and payments are $1,298 a month.
I never put money down on leases and ended up leasing over financing as the lease payment was between what payments would have been for 60 and 72 months. I like transferring the risk at the 36 month point to MBFS.
I am coming from several BMW leases, the most recent of which is on a M235i with the lease ending in September. I was actually looking at trying to schedule a September European Delivery on the C63 and ended up deciding that the offer on this car was better than ED in September even accounting for the fact I have 3 payments left on the BMW. I have the BMW up for sale on Craigslist, Autotrader and BMWCCA but worst case will be making the 3 remaining payments and giving the car back to BMW at some point this summer.
By paying a few bucks more a month on the C63 lease I have similar flexibility on this car.

To clarify a few points: you don't pay for excess miles if you buy the car at the end of the lease. If the interest rates are similar to lease vs finance, it's always better to lease. You'll pay less per month and you'll have the option value of waking away or buying the car at the end.
You may also be able to sell it privately for more than the buyout, and pocket the difference. I've done that twice now.
