Is M177 flat plane or cross plane?
Is the M177 in C63s flat plane crank v8 or cross plane crank v8?

The M177 is a crossplane crank setup.
Flatplane cranks are fairly rare and are typically used in higher-strung, high performance engines that need revs to make power, not torque monsters like the M177.

Mustang GT350R is the only current production car I can think of with a flat plane crank.
