They are the same voltage. The last 2 numbers are the thickness. 25 mm and 32 mm. My '14 ML350 came with 2025.

Interesting information! Didn't know that's the only difference! I think you meant 2.5mm and 3.2mm. 25.4mm is 1 inch. So that means 32 has more capacity than 25, right?

Yes, I needed a decimal point. I guess batts have an amp/hour rating.
From Google:
The CR2025 is thinner than the CR2032, but they otherwise seem to be interchangeable — assuming you can make them fit your device equally well. The thicker CR2032 is typically rated for 240 mAh whereas the thinner CR2025 is typically rated for 163 mAh.

I put 2032's in my W209 key on Friday and today the Keyless Go wouldn't work; had to insert and turn the key. When my appointment was over I went to start the car and key wouldn't turn! MBUSA said that key batteries "have nothing to do with" the key turning, just locking and unlocking, but after moving the batteries around a bit I was able to get the little red LED to light and, sure enough, the key turned and car started.

You best believe I went straight to the dealership for some free CR2025 batteries and a wash!!

Battery

Batteries will last a lot longer if you put your fobs in a metal tin or an RFID proof bag so the fob isn't constantly trying to communicate with the car.
