How old is everyone?

22 own a '17 C63S sedan outright.

jkob5 06-23-2017 04:37 PM

I was very close to buying a corvette and remember a similar thread on the corvette forums. I think the age group will be pretty different :)

31 here, when I was 22 I had to fill up a tire with air everyday before I left for school because I couldn't afford a replacement wheel haha

NOPDK 06-23-2017 04:56 PM

Over 35 is the old group? Dude. Really?

Seriously. This is really, really insulting.

This isn't a cheap car. This group is going to be huge.

Fix the poll if you're going to do it.

No idea how to edit the poll or delete thread

DragonRR 06-23-2017 06:37 PM

Not insulting at all.. I have no objections to being in a 35+ group.
Note to self - 35+ ladies are now completely "doable".

:D :stick::y

If you don't mind me asking, since this post seems to be created just to share this, did you pay for the car with money you made at your job? Or is it from a trust fund, parents, relatives, business inherited from relatives, etc?

The poll should be age and did you pay for your own car since you added that yours is owned outright. I just like to get the full picture.

Guilty 06-23-2017 10:13 PM

I'm 14, bought the car with my weed money.

LOL This ^^^^ this is not the first poll of its type :)

In a lot of Countries outside the U.S (where cars are so cheap by comparison) the average age of 'luxo' European car buyers is 40 or 50+

The other problem for the younger buyers of this category of vehicle again in some Countries is you can't get it insured if your under 25 and the insurance rates are only 'decent' if your over 40 with a perfect driving record.

Yes job.

Michael Scott 06-24-2017 02:13 AM

just turned 26 own a 17' C63s outright :]

AKnight55 06-24-2017 10:14 AM

Are people serious with this owning it outright garbage? With such low interest rates you would be better financing the car and actually put your money to work in real estate, stocks etc.

But maybe that type of thinking just shows our age.

Michael Scott 06-24-2017 12:10 PM

Yep I'm with you, anyway each to there own I guess.

LOL only a tween would segment the age groups like this. Ahhh to be young again without a worry in the world. You, young man, are EXTREMELY lucky to own such a fine machine this early in life. You either struck gold as an entrepreneur (extremely rare), come from wealth (also relatively rare), or are an idiot and spent all your money on a car instead of your future (not as rare as you'd think). Enjoy it, I wish I had this car at that age

ROFL. However, I'm guessing the prices are dropping as weed becomes more commercialized.

47 here with mid-life crisis.

Fordgt40 06-25-2017 12:54 PM

73 here and bought outright with my own money.

Rock 06-25-2017 01:29 PM

I was born today and paid the car off approximately 270 days ago.

damnitBobby 06-25-2017 05:35 PM

You kids are funny. Tell your dad while he's at it to buy you a house outright too!
