Looks awesome... Kw has? How much drop is that? How is the ride quality after dropping? I'm on the fence... Don't want to ruin my shocks either...
But pictures like that make it soooo tempting haha... Wish there were complete coilover solutions... |

That's no potato camera. A potato camera is what you use if you were taking a picture of Bigfoot or a UFO. Really good potato cameras are permanently out-of-focus.

LOL... That suspension work must have really increased the downforce on the car!
As a side note, what are you guys using to lower your cars? Just the KW HAS springs? Is much prefer a coilover option -- are there any that exist out there that can work with our adjustable suspensions? |
thanks lol...no matter what i do my orientation on pics is wrong....trying to edit but having difficulties lol. Yes KW HAS to retain factory adjustments

Clearly the state ones are ugly as well. No one does that for me; they are real metal plates and real metal frames. The business does retail and wholesale vehicle mods and they are a sponsor here and Ive known the owner for 17 years. And no it doesn't seem like something I want to skip. :) |

I think thats because he won Monza! haha GO LEWIS! :zoom: |
Up until that point the car got lots of thumbs up and almost everyone on the autostradas wanted to race. I would have taken some pictures while parked outside the cafe de Paris but there was all sorts of building work going on and WAY too many people.

took delivery of her last week. What a beast! still need tint, kw has plus spacers and an ecu tune. Btw, I'm still in the break in process (only 300 miles on her), I always put it in sport + (I can't resist :zoom:) and manually shift to make sure the rpm doesn't go past 4,500 rpm.. Is that not recommended for the break in process?

I have had the following mods: after market carbon fiber mirrors, spoiler and door handles. Gloss black roof and ceramic coating on entire car and wheels. I am thinking about painting the badges and entire wheels a lightly gloss black. |

Im sure everyone would like to hear how your car runs with the DMS tune and turbos. I love the car so much I canceled my GTR order after driving one as it was quite slow by comparison and did not handle as well and for double the price it was a no brainer. I am waiting on Weistec or someone to release a decent intake and cooling system. I am about to get DMS to push the tune harder as this is test tune to make sure everything is running properly with the new Turbo's. I should probably stick it on the dyno before and after. Does the dyno do much damage to the transmission and tyres? Is it possible to fit different gear ratios ? Has anyone done this? Please feel free to ask any more questions and I will answer the as best as I can, if anyone needs my suspension setup settings I am happy to oblige. |
Thanks David, I have looked and looked, just can't find anything that lights my fire. I did see a set of wheels on an E63 W213 wagon on another site with bronze rim edges and black centres.

No I used the Armytrix, custom made. It is a completely different sounding car to standard. I am glad I had 200 cell race cats installed otherwise it would have been way to loud. As it is I can dip down into Sport or Comfort and close the exhaust valves and thats just quiet enough to make a phone call. Cold start with the valves open is pretty epic though. Don't know if you can post sound files on here ? If I can I will.

The bumper has to be removed to make the clear bra edgeless by tucking the seams around the edges of the bumper and front fenders. They are wrapping the headlights individually as well.

but its the negative camber that you can't get back hence the reason for the Kmac ... the camber will kill the tires even worse than they already do . I'm installing the bushing in the new year . I definitely have too much negative camber with the KW HAS kit

No spacers and I haven't had any rubbing issues . The 35's in the rear are taller and right now it is sitting raked but I can adjust the front up or rear down w/ the KW HAS kit . I'm actually considering raising it up in the front 1/2 " . The ride is a bit stiffer then stock but nothing extreme and I've been setting the shocks in sport ........ I'm also about to install the Kmac ft bushings to gain some camber back . Once these 285/35's wear out in the rear I may switch to 30's and even try to fit a 295 https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...2e0974cc35.jpg |

It's lowered with KW Has kit and yes the rake is partially due to the 0.9 in difference in tire height 255/285 |

Yes marginally, tyres are getting a little worn now after 12,000 kms so a little slippage until they warm up. I played around with different widths but found 12 mm gives it a much better looking stance than going overboard and making look a little tacky and after marketish......I had a Porsche Cayman S previously and I gauge the C63S cornering ability against that and I found on the same windy road the difference between OEM track and the added 12 mm does improve particularly hairpin corners at the same speed.

What kind of coating did you go with? Did they do paint correction before?
Fortunately minimal correction needed as I drove it straight from the dealer to the clear film installer. Requested that the dealer leave film on the car and no wash. They said it wasn't an unsual request for AMG buyers... made me chuckle. When we pulled the film there was one area of light abrasion from someones hand touching dirty paint near the handle and they corrected the area, other than that the paint was in surprisingly good shape. |

Just took delivery today. Went on vacation for a week, came back and noticed the rear diffuser isn't carbon? It has package carbon II @ like $2950.00. It says on the window sticker carbon fiber rear diffuser. Have to go back to the dealer friday to get the whole front done with matte film protection. |
Nice coupe

Picture of my car before it went into the bodyshop for some work. The Rotiform CVT's are definitely badass and the fitment on that car is on point! They are custom built as well so can be made to fit any Merc. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...d84394e283.jpg |

As I know the installation is not difficult. As said, looks great! Wasn’t sure when first saw the grill but now thinking it’s growing on me, and maybe I should be facelifting my 2018! Is it the 2 side lower bumper grills and centre grill only? Presume it’s a bumper off job to fit but straight forward other than that? Rough cost of parts? |

are you running spacers? If so what size? If the rear 15mm, then with a heavy load my rear 295 tires slightly reach the arches. So I had to install 5mm everywhere. But I think also fit 10mm, but not anymore (for 295 tires without lowering). |

Haha we noticed because your car's stance looks so good. Without spacers the OEM wheels have very weak offsets from factory and it's one of the many reasons why C63 owners are turning to aftermarket wheels. |

Pics of cars on 12//15mm look a bit to much IMO, so intereted to hear details of spacers. Any other mods mods on the car. 2019 rear diffuser yet? |

those front air intake protection grills are stock right?
can't understand why the E63 doesn't come with ones. cars are not that different that placing some would interfere with air flow to inter-coolers and stuff... |
Pulled a couple cars out and cleaned them today. Looks like it should be just in time for the rain - lol. C 63S will be one week old tomorrow. No birthday planned.

In my particular case I had the standard non-distronic star before the upgrade. I wouldn’t be able to definitively tell you. You may be able to call down to the dealer and ask for the part number for your current star and compare the numbers to see if there is a diff with the old and new. If anyone would like to chime in please feel free. |

I am curious.
For 2019, the left and right intercoolers now come with a black plastic protective grill installed right on their face in order to compensate from the deletion of the larger 2018 diamond shaped mesh protection up front (which the 2019 no longer has). Otherwise, they would be completely naked to damage from stones, rocks, gravel or other road debris. Did you install these 2019 protective grills as well? |

I had my Guards rolled while turbos were being fitted just for safe measure as I knew I would be running a few different tyres. The 295/30 PS4S’s and the 295/30 R888’s don’t rub at all but the 305/35 MT’s slightly touch just below where the guard and bumper bolt togeather when the kids are in the back. Driving around with two in the front is fine just with slight touches on occasions. Cars lowered 20 mm still. |
Thought id post up mine as well :)

If no spacer was added to that wheel then it should be 19"x9.5" ET45 as that is the only fitment HRE produces for this car with the FF01 model. |

Maybe I am biased :), but I actually prefer the long hood / short trunk proportions of the Sedan.

Hi I have 305's (PS 4S) on my rear and I'm at stock ride height... I prefer a more meaty tire look vs the low profile look & I was thinking of getting the same MT tires as you or moving to a 305 PS 4s. I was wondering how do your MT's handle turns and also in wet weather?

Here's mine
Hey all, new to the forum in terms of posting but I've read a lot here over the past few years. Here's my random pic now of my 2020 C63s in magno white. I live in Toronto and have yet to see one in that color but I see here it ooks like there's a few, and generally, some very cool cars. Once I could afford AMG, I started with the CLA 45 back in 2012'ish (can't recall exactly; guess that tells you how important that car was lol j/k), then went to c43 in 2017. best car I've ever driven is the current one.
