2015 Black Edition 1 C63S
Found one locally with 25,000 miles being offered for $64.9k non-cpo'd. I would rate it a 4 out of 5 in terms of condition. It was a corporate owned vehicle for 24 months (lease, I''m guessing). The dealer paid $58.6k for it at auction. I'll start my offer at $55k; with no intention of paying more than $60k. What do you think? How much would you pay?

How long has the dealer had the car? Depending on the time its been sitting will probably determine their desire to move the car. The only 58600 car I saw this month was with much less miles. |
Yeah, dont see why they would sell it to you at a loss. Unless you had a typo in the numbers. Low to mid 60's seems like a more accurate number.

I paid 69 for my edition 1 black sedan fully optioned with 18k miles.
65 would be fair. These edition 1 in black don't come up often dude |
Have you seen this one? http://www.fermanchevrolet.net/Vehic...-FL/3048120213
Seems like a similar car, less miles and they're asking less. |

Why would the dealer sell it for a loss? Its a used car and that's where their best front end and back end gross comes from. You do know that auction sales are bare balls and then there is recon, transport, fees, books, etc (possible parts/service) so depending on the condtion that car is probably at 60k dealer cost... Selling a used car is different than moving new car metal as a loss leader where there are factory incentives to dealer, kickback, allocation rewards and flooring bumps.

Seriously though..., I always think dealers have something up their sleeves and are consistently trying to take advantage of the consumer who is always disadvantaged due to their limited access to info. Dealer always seems to be holding all the cards. So, I hit them first before they hit me. Whew!! I feel so much better. The car in question is not being sold by a MB dealer... So, certification and all the recon work does not apply here. All they did was give it a decent detail, snapped a few pics and put up an ad. Not against the dealer making money... I just want to ensure I'm not paying more than I have to. |

If I buy this car, I'm most likely going to remove the red trim on the wheels, front grill, and side mirrors. Might also remove the stripes on the lower sides... Then, I'll have the VADER look... Queue Star Wars theme... |

We all want to pay the least amount for a car but you stated they paid 58600 at the auction so I doubt they will sell it for less unless its super old and eating up cobwebs. Its a sunken cost unless they have a B line flooring for used cars. Care to send a link of this dealer? |

Don't think so... I'm leaning toward buying it. I don't want anyone swooping in to buy it out from under me... :D

Good to know. Did not know they were hard to find... This particular car has the P97 Edition 1 pkg which retailed for $13,990. I think the only option it's missing is the ceramic brakes.

Queue Star Wars theme... just bought it a month ago it had 17,000 miles on it and brand new tires. It was purely mint. condition matters greatly on these edition 1s! having an auxiliary battery issue already lol |
