Asking for a favor from other c63 coupe owners: Picture underneath your hood
I cleaned underneath my hood today when washing the car. Came across these two bolts on the driver’s side and found they were super lose which is odd considering car is fairly new. I tightened them but then notice the gap existing between the two pieces. As you can see, the same piece on the passenger’s side had no gap. I wonder if this is just acceptable OEM built, or was the car taken apart for some work and not put back together properly.
I’m taking the car in tomorrow to have the chattering wipes looked at so I’ll address this to. I was wondering though, if other c63 owner can take a look underneath the hood of their cars and let me know if this is the same in yours?

Thank you. Dealer took a look and said that it's not normal so they are adjusting it now. They're also addressing the chattering wipers by stating that there was a "film" on the glass that caused this. They're removing the film so I'm looking forward to test this out the next time it rains.

That gap is how the bumper/hood gap is set, due to the added reinforcement piece. Was it that the bolts were loose or there was a gap? The bolts should not be loose, but a space there is normal as long as your hood/bumper/fenders all align as they should.
