I'm shocked daily that MBZ didn't offer this option in the states, while offered elsewhere in the world.

Anyone know a way to add, modify or otherwise get this for an existing coupe?

it's not offered as an option because it's standard, perhaps? Mine C63S coupe has it...

I'm pretty sure the dash is not leather. It's MB-Tex (aka vinyl) with a leather grain. Same goes for the upper door trim.

I would be surprised as I've had two C classes and my C63's dash is definitely different than the MB Tex as it's obvious (to me) to the touch the difference between the MB Tex and MB's Actual Leather, even the "upgraded" leather option from the Napa Leather.

It feels different because they manufacture this with a grain to match the leather of the seats. It's ABSOLUTELY not leather.

so what cleaning product(s) do you use on the seats-leather vs the top of dash and top of door panels-MB Tex?
Is the area in the center of the door panel leather or MB-Tex?

I think leather looks better.
If you've seen pics of the euro leather dash, you'll see what I mean.

I'll take a look. Had a Porsche once with dash leather......it seemed like regular old whatever......and didn't help resale value either......but hey.......I'm sure it looks nice.
