Velos Early Spring Promo | Velos Performance Software for W205 C63s

Hey Members,

We will be starting early on our spring promotion so we will be offering our performance software to all C63s owners.

Below you will find information on our performance software for the C63s Platform.

The Mercedes C63 has proven itself as a staple in the AMG family and the Mercedes collection. With the introduction of the BiTurbo motor for the C platform on the other non AMG models the enthusiasts have been itching for the C63 in the Sedan then Coupe to finally be released. The Mercedes C63S boasts an impressive 469 HP and 650 lb ft of torque from the factory proving to be come out of the box a well balanced machine and a leading competitor in its class. Dyno testing in various conditions proved successful as well as testing in our Humid South Florida climates which yielded gains of 121 lb ft of torque to the wheels and 85 rwph. The AMG enthusiasts can look forward to higher gains in more favorable conditions.
Our engineering team has been able to improve this vehicle’s output by over 13%. Our tuned results show gains of over 141 lb ft of torque and roughly 109 hp making this a even more impressive machine. With remapping the ECU and changes to the fuel, ignition, throttle, limiters and a few other key areas our Engineering team was able to allow this C63 to reach near its full potential without any compromise. All tuning stays well within factory safety paramters while producing an impressive 13%+ power output. With a bottom end torque like no other in its class this upgrade for your Mercedes AMG C63S is a must for the true enthusiasts.

Not sure where you're getting the 109 hp gain and 141 torque gain. The graph says +70hp and +90 tq. This is nearly identical to the other tunes, including the Dinan piggyback.

Their claim of 109/141 are the Max Hp/Tq gained after they converted whp "wheel" which is the dyno to bhp or "engine".
You are probably reading the Peak dyno numbers.

Even so, the gains are misleading because there is no actual gain of that much hp or torque that the engine produces from this tune. Have to compare whp to whp, or crank to crank. The dyne chart shows a delta of 70-75 hp and 90 tq. Am I missing something? It looks like they are comparing measured output to manufacturer "stated" output, which is underrated as we all know.

Sorry for the confusion. The numbers are measured at ~3700 rpm. I agree we only use the changes in power due to the factories claims being adjusted for marketing purposes. Amazing machines nonetheless and a blast to drive before and after the tuning.

That overrun sounds so bad it's laughable, I'd be embarrassed driving that around. The pops and cracks seem to be just randomly programmed in - why on earth does it randomly pop as the RPM's drop to 3k rpm after a rev? I don't know if that's intentional or part of a burble tune, but it sounds like ***.

I don't think its randomly programmed in, you can clearly tell it is associated with after WOT, it is burning excessive fuel in the exhaust system. There's better explanation of this related phenomenons on the internet, but basically the tune + his exhaust mod resulted this. I don't think the tune alone will get your car to sound like that.

I, too, think its a bit too much. Certain parts of the video was showing multiple continuous pop, that's too much for me. I think what he didn't show was just prior to that the car was definitely in WOT. That is a lot of energy in sound and simply wasted. I wonder if there's something else problematic going on (need better timing/tune to match the exhaust, bad fuel injector, etc)

He maybe in for another road trip soon for a re-tune.

Is this Burble Tune standard with the Velos Tune?

I don't know how long you can drive your car around like that?

It is not standard with the tune but it would be an option.
