IPE fitted but there is a problem!!
So I had my new IPE fitted today to my c63s coupe which has the performance exhaust, the garage did not have time to fit the valve kit so it will be done this weekend.
The exhaust is fitted and when they moved it of the ramp to another space the exhaust was quiet, as in quieter than valves closed with stock exhaust.....they opened the valves manually and it was still quieter than stock... I get the valve kit is not fitted but surely with the exhaust on it’s own it should still make a good noise and not be quieter than stock?! I hope when the valve kit is connected it will make a noise but not sure if this will..

It’s not going to be any louder when the valve kit is installed. Especially since the valves are manually opened right now. It’s not going to become magically louder.

yeah your last thread was about this and people told you the same thing. IPE has a bad rep on here. i know of two people that had it and sold it within months. I believe power loss and "flow problems" were mentioned to you. also when you manually lock the valves open car can go into limp mode so be careful of that as well.
